Privacy Policy
This policy explains how the TypeInteractions mobile application and website collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information.
Last updated:
1. Who is responsible for the service
The TypeInteractions mobile application and website are published and operated by:
DUCOS ANTHONY
Sole proprietor organized under French law under the micro-enterprise regime
SIRET (French business registration number): 91822609300022
Email: contact@typeinteractions.com
DUCOS ANTHONY acts as the data controller for personal data processed through TypeInteractions and, where U.S. privacy law applies, as the business or controller responsible for the processing described in this policy.
2. Scope of this policy
This policy explains what personal information may be processed when you use the TypeInteractions application or website, why the information is processed, which service providers may receive it, how long it may be retained, and the privacy rights that may be available to you.
This policy covers, in particular:
- text submitted for analysis;
- analysis results;
- technical information required to operate and secure the service;
- information related to in-app purchases;
- support requests and contact-form messages; and
- website browsing and server-log information.
3. How TypeInteractions works
TypeInteractions allows you to submit free-form text in order to receive an interpretive analysis of patterns that appear in the writing.
Text may be typed, pasted, or dictated in the application. It is transmitted to an analysis server and processed with the assistance of an artificial-intelligence service provider so that the requested result can be generated.
The automated analysis may consider linguistic and discourse-related signals. The result may include a dominant profile, a driving process, a sociability indicator, confidence scores, an indicative MBTI reference, and interpretive profile content.
TypeInteractions does not require a user account. Submitted text and generated results are therefore not linked to a personal account created in the application.
4. Personal information we may process
4.1 Text submitted for analysis
The primary content processed by the service is the text that you choose to type, paste, or dictate.
The text may contain personal information if you include, intentionally or unintentionally:
- information about yourself;
- names, contact details, or other identifiers;
- information about relationships, experiences, beliefs, or opinions;
- information about other people; or
- information that could reveal sensitive or specially protected characteristics.
TypeInteractions does not ask you to include such information. You should anonymize the text and avoid including information that is unnecessarily identifiable, sensitive, confidential, or protected by a professional duty of secrecy.
4.2 Analysis results and inferences
The service may generate:
- a dominant profile;
- a relationnal indicator;
- confidence or reliability scores;
- an indicative MBTI reference; and
- a profile narrative and related interpretations.
These outputs are automated interpretations of the submitted text. They are not a medical or psychological diagnosis and are not a definitive statement about a person’s identity, abilities, health, or suitability for any opportunity.
4.3 Technical and security information
The operation and security of the service may require limited technical information, such as:
- the IP address used to communicate with the server;
- the date and time of a request;
- the application version;
- the operating system and certain device characteristics;
- temporary technical identifiers;
- error codes and diagnostic logs; and
- information used to prevent fraud, attacks, abuse, or unauthorized automated use.
Technical information is not used to create the personality analysis. It is used for operation, troubleshooting, security, and abuse prevention.
4.4 Purchase information
In-app purchases are currently processed through Google Play.
TypeInteractions may receive or process information needed to verify a purchase, including:
- the purchased product;
- the transaction status;
- a transaction identifier or purchase token;
- the purchase date; and
- information needed to restore or validate an available analysis.
TypeInteractions does not receive or store complete payment-card information. Payment information is processed by Google under Google’s own terms and privacy policy.
4.5 Contact and support information
If you contact TypeInteractions, we may process:
- your name or the name you choose to provide;
- your email address;
- the subject and content of your message;
- technical information or proof of purchase that you voluntarily provide; and
- communications required to resolve your request.
4.6 Voice dictation and microphone access
The application may request microphone access when you voluntarily activate voice dictation.
Speech recognition may be provided by your device’s operating system or by the speech-recognition service configured on the device. Audio processing is therefore also subject to that provider’s settings and privacy practices.
TypeInteractions primarily receives the transcribed text needed for analysis and does not use the dictation feature for the purpose of retaining an audio recording.
4.7 Website browsing information and cookies
The website may process technical information required for operation and security, including IP address, browser type, requested pages, connection dates, and web-server logs.
Strictly necessary cookies or similar storage may be used for technical operation, security, or remembering a language preference.
If optional analytics or another nonessential tracker is introduced, it will be used only after any consent required by applicable law has been obtained.
5. Why we process information
Personal information may be processed to:
- receive text that you submit;
- generate and deliver the requested analysis;
- display and save analyses locally on your device;
- verify purchases and the number of available analyses;
- operate the application and website;
- identify and correct errors;
- prevent fraud, abuse, attacks, and unauthorized automated use;
- respond to contact, support, and refund requests;
- comply with legal, accounting, and tax obligations;
- establish, exercise, or defend legal claims; and
- improve service reliability and security using aggregated or de-identified information.
TypeInteractions does not use submitted text or analysis results to serve personalized advertising, sell personality profiles, or make legal, employment, medical, financial, insurance, housing, education, or similarly significant decisions.
6. Legal bases for certain jurisdictions
Where the laws of the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, or another jurisdiction require a legal basis, TypeInteractions relies on the following, as applicable:
- Performance of a contract: processing submitted text, generating results, verifying purchases, using a purchased analysis, and providing related support.
- Steps requested before entering into a contract: responding to questions about the service, available offers, or purchasing conditions.
- Legitimate interests: securing the service, preventing abuse, diagnosing errors, handling complaints, protecting legal rights, and making limited technical improvements.
- Compliance with legal obligations: retaining required accounting records, responding to competent authorities, and complying with tax or legal duties.
- Consent: optional microphone access, nonessential tracking technologies, and other optional processing where consent is legally required.
7. Automated processing and profiling
TypeInteractions performs automated processing that may generate an indicative profile from the submitted text.
This profiling is limited to providing the service that you request. It is intended for personal reflection and is not used by TypeInteractions to make a decision that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
The result should not be used for hiring, termination, promotion, credit, insurance, medical care, admission, discipline, housing, law enforcement, or any other important decision about a person.
8. Service providers and recipients
Personal information is available only to persons and service providers that need it to provide, secure, maintain, or administer TypeInteractions.
Categories of recipients may include:
- the website hosting provider;
- the analysis-server hosting provider;
- OpenAI, as the artificial-intelligence API provider used to generate the analysis;
- Google Play, for purchase processing and verification;
- the email or contact-form provider;
- technical providers involved in security, maintenance, or diagnostics; and
- administrative, regulatory, judicial, or law-enforcement authorities when legally required.
Service providers are expected to process information only for the relevant service, subject to contractual obligations and applicable law.
9. OpenAI API processing
The submitted text and the instructions strictly necessary to generate the requested analysis may be sent to the OpenAI API.
Under OpenAI’s published API data controls, data sent through the API is not used by default to train or improve OpenAI models unless the API customer expressly opts in to data sharing.
OpenAI may generate abuse-monitoring logs that can include prompts, responses, and related metadata. Under the default API configuration, those logs may be retained for up to 30 days, unless longer retention is required by law or reasonably necessary to protect OpenAI’s services or third parties.
Some API features and endpoints may retain application state for a different period, depending on the endpoint and technical configuration used. The retention description in this policy should be updated if TypeInteractions changes its OpenAI integration.
You should not include sensitive, confidential, or unnecessarily identifiable information in text submitted for analysis.
10. International data transfers
Some service providers, including OpenAI and Google, may process information in countries outside your country of residence and outside the European Economic Area.
Where required, cross-border transfers are protected by a legally recognized mechanism, such as an adequacy decision, standard contractual clauses, the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework for eligible recipients, or another appropriate safeguard.
You may request additional information about applicable transfer safeguards by contacting contact@typeinteractions.com.
11. Retention periods
11.1 Submitted text and results on the TypeInteractions server
Submitted text is processed for the time needed to generate and transmit the requested result.
TypeInteractions does not intend to maintain a permanent user-linked database of submitted text and results. In the absence of an incident, they are deleted or made inaccessible after the technical processing is completed.
Limited technical records may be retained temporarily for security, failure diagnosis, and abuse prevention for up to 30 days.
11.2 Local archive
Analyses saved in the application archive remain locally on the device until you delete them, clear the application’s data, or uninstall the application.
TypeInteractions generally cannot access the local archive or restore it after loss, deletion, or a device change.
11.3 Information processed by OpenAI
OpenAI abuse-monitoring logs may, under the default API configuration, be retained for up to 30 days. Different retention may apply when required by law, reasonably necessary to protect services or third parties, or associated with the endpoint and configuration used.
11.4 Technical logs
Server and website logs are retained for no longer than 30 days, unless a longer period is necessary to investigate a security event, document abuse, or establish or defend a legal claim.
11.5 Support and contact records
Support communications are retained for the time needed to resolve the request and may then be retained for up to three years after closure when useful for service follow-up or proof of communications.
11.6 Purchases and accounting obligations
Information strictly required for accounting, tax, transaction evidence, or legal compliance may be retained for the legally required period, which may be up to ten years for certain accounting records under French law.
11.7 Privacy requests
Privacy requests and responses may be retained for the time needed to process the request and for an additional period sufficient to demonstrate legal compliance.
At the end of the applicable retention period, information is deleted, de-identified, or separately archived where required by law.
12. Local storage and deletion
Results may be saved locally in the application so that you can review them later.
You may delete:
- an analysis from the archive, where that feature is available;
- local application data through your device settings; or
- the complete local archive by uninstalling the application or clearing its data.
Local deletion is generally permanent. Because there is no user account or remote backup, TypeInteractions cannot restore deleted analyses.
13. No sale, sharing, or targeted advertising
TypeInteractions does not sell, rent, or commercialize submitted text, analysis results, or other personal information.
TypeInteractions does not “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, as that term is defined under California law, and does not process personal information for targeted advertising.
TypeInteractions does not use submitted text or results to build a commercial database of personality profiles.
Browser privacy signals
Because TypeInteractions does not currently sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use it for targeted advertising, browser “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control signals do not change those practices. If TypeInteractions adopts a practice for which an opt-out preference signal is legally required, this policy and the technical implementation will be updated accordingly.
14. Security
TypeInteractions uses reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, alteration, disclosure, or misuse.
Measures may include:
- encryption of communications using HTTPS;
- restricted access to technical systems;
- data minimization;
- limited retention periods;
- monitoring for incidents and abusive use;
- software-component updates; and
- separation between the local archive and the analysis server.
No information system can guarantee absolute security. You should also protect your device, access credentials, and the text that you choose to submit.
15. Data breaches
If a personal-data breach is likely to create a risk to individuals, TypeInteractions will take reasonable steps to contain and investigate the incident and will notify competent authorities and affected individuals when required by applicable law.
16. Text and information about other people
If you submit text written by another person or containing information about another person, you must have the legal right or necessary permission to do so.
You are responsible for:
- not submitting private or confidential text obtained without permission;
- informing the affected person when legally required;
- removing names and identifying details where possible;
- not including sensitive information about other people; and
- not using a result to make an important decision about another person.
17. Sensitive personal information
Free-form text could reveal information about health, race or ethnic origin, political opinions, religion or philosophical beliefs, union membership, sexual orientation, sex life, immigration status, financial information, account credentials, precise location, or other specially protected information.
TypeInteractions does not request such information and expressly recommends that you not include it.
If you nevertheless provide sensitive personal information voluntarily, it is processed only to respond to the requested analysis and is not used by TypeInteractions for an unrelated purpose.
18. Children’s privacy
TypeInteractions is not directed to children under 13 in the United States and is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
A minor should use the service only with the authorization or supervision of a parent or legal guardian where required by applicable law.
Users should not submit text containing personal information about a child, particularly sensitive information or details that could identify the child.
If you believe that a child under 13 has provided personal information through the service, contact contact@typeinteractions.com so that the situation can be reviewed and the information deleted where appropriate.
19. EEA, U.K., and Swiss privacy rights
Subject to applicable law and any exemptions, individuals in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland may have the right to:
- request access to personal data;
- request correction of inaccurate data;
- request deletion of certain data;
- request restriction of processing;
- object to processing based on legitimate interests;
- receive certain data in a portable format;
- withdraw consent at any time for processing based on consent; and
- provide instructions concerning certain data after death, where applicable.
Because TypeInteractions does not use accounts and server retention is limited, it may no longer hold enough information to locate a past analysis or identify its author when a request is received.
A privacy request does not allow TypeInteractions to access an archive stored only on your device.
20. U.S. state privacy rights
Depending on your state of residence and whether the relevant law applies to TypeInteractions and the processing in question, you may have rights to:
- confirm whether personal information is being processed;
- access or obtain a copy of personal information;
- correct inaccurate personal information;
- delete personal information, subject to legal exceptions;
- obtain certain information in a portable format;
- opt out of the sale of personal information;
- opt out of targeted advertising;
- opt out of certain profiling used for significant decisions;
- limit certain uses of sensitive personal information;
- appeal the denial of a privacy request, where the law provides that right; and
- receive equal service and not be discriminated against for exercising a privacy right.
TypeInteractions does not currently sell personal information, use it for targeted advertising, or use profiling to make significant decisions. This section does not expand the scope of a state law or grant a right where the law does not apply.
21. California privacy notice
This section supplements the rest of this policy for California residents. It is provided to the extent the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CCPA”), applies to TypeInteractions.
21.1 Categories of personal information
The following table describes categories of personal information that TypeInteractions may have collected during the preceding 12 months, the principal sources and purposes, and the categories of recipients to which the information may be disclosed for business purposes.
| CCPA category | Examples processed by TypeInteractions | Sources and purposes | Categories of recipients |

21.2 Sale and sharing
TypeInteractions has not sold personal information and has not shared personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising during the preceding 12 months.
21.3 California rights
If the CCPA applies, California residents may have the right to know, access, delete, and correct personal information; opt out of sale or sharing; limit certain uses of sensitive personal information; and receive nondiscriminatory treatment.
Because TypeInteractions does not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, it does not provide a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link at this time.
21.4 Authorized agents
Where permitted by law, you may designate an authorized agent to submit a request. TypeInteractions may require evidence of the agent’s authority and may ask you to verify your identity or confirm the authorization directly.
22. How to submit a privacy request
Submit privacy requests to:
Your request should clearly describe the right you wish to exercise and provide enough information to identify the relevant records.
Proof of identity may be requested only when reasonably necessary to verify the requester or protect personal information from unauthorized disclosure or deletion.
TypeInteractions will respond within the period required by applicable law. If a request is denied, the response will explain the basis for the denial and any available appeal process where required.

24. Third-party links and services
The application or website may contain links to Google Play or other third-party services.
This policy does not govern processing performed directly by those third parties through their own services. You should review their privacy policies.
25. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated to reflect changes to the application, service providers, features, processing practices, or legal requirements.
The “Last updated” date at the top of the page identifies the current version. Material changes may also be communicated through the website or application.
