2. Acceptance and eligibility
By accessing or using the analysis features, or by purchasing an analysis or pack, you agree to these Terms of Use and Sale (“Terms”). Before purchase, you should be given an opportunity to review and affirmatively accept the Terms through the application or the applicable Google Play purchase flow.
If you do not agree, do not use the analysis features and do not purchase an analysis or pack.
These Terms supplement the information shown at purchase, the applicable Google Play Terms of Service, and the TypeInteractions Privacy Policy. Electronic acceptance and records may be used to form and document the agreement, subject to applicable law.
You may use the service only if you can legally enter into a binding agreement where you live. If you are under the age of legal majority, you may use it only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
TypeInteractions is not directed to children under 13 in the United States. A child under 13 must not use the service or submit personal information through it.
3. The service
TypeInteractions generates an interpretive analysis from free-form text typed, pasted, or dictated by the user. It may examine linguistic and discourse-related signals such as vocabulary, syntax, phrasing, reasoning, narration, descriptions, actions, situations, and relationships represented in the text.
The method compares possible processes and proposes the profile that appears to account for the text most coherently. Depending on the offer, a result may include a dominant profile, relational indicator, confidence or reliability scores, an indicative MBTI reference, and interpretive or developmental content.
No single word, topic, or isolated passage determines a profile. The analysis combines multiple signals and may preserve uncertainty when evidence is limited, ambiguous, or competing.
4. Interpretive and non-clinical nature
TypeInteractions is a typological and interpretive tool for personal reflection. It is not a medical device and does not provide psychological, psychiatric, medical, legal, financial, educational, or other professional advice.
Results are not a diagnosis, clinical assessment, comprehensive scientific measurement of personality, final definition of identity, or certain prediction of abilities, health, or future behavior.
The application does not replace a qualified professional. In distress, crisis, or an emergency, contact a healthcare professional, emergency service, crisis resource, or trusted person. Do not rely on TypeInteractions for emergency assistance.
5. Text quality and result uncertainty
The usefulness and representativeness of an analysis depend on the text’s length, richness, naturalness, context, and relevant information.
A result may be less representative when the text is too short, deliberately shaped to obtain a profile, strongly imitated, mainly technical or factual, composed largely of quotations, incomplete, affected by dictation errors, or otherwise too limited to compare possible interpretations.
Multiple texts from the same person may produce similar results, but different subjects, contexts, languages, lengths, and levels of detail may produce different results.
Confidence or reliability scores estimate the strength of the reconstruction. A high score does not make the result definitively true or scientifically certain. Scores do not measure intelligence, personal worth, mental health, or literary ability.
6. Automated processing and prohibited decisions
TypeInteractions uses automated processing to generate an indicative profile from submitted text. The processing is intended only to provide an interpretive result and a tool for personal reflection.
The service is not designed to produce legal or similarly significant effects. It must not be used to decide or materially influence hiring, termination, promotion, admission, credit, insurance, housing, medical treatment, discipline, law-enforcement action, or another significant right, benefit, or opportunity.
7. Text written by other people
If you submit text written by another person, you must have the legal right or required permission to use and transmit it for analysis.
You must not submit private or confidential text without authorization, or text that unnecessarily identifies its author or another person. A result concerns only signals in the submitted text and must not be presented as a certain truth about the author.
You must not use a result to discriminate against, harass, defame, manipulate, or harm another person.
8. User responsibilities
You are responsible for the text you submit, the rights and permissions required to use it, the personal information you include, the way you interpret and use the result, and the protection of your device and locally saved analyses.
Do not submit sensitive or confidential information, including medical, financial, or legal records; passwords; government identifiers; complete payment-card information; account credentials; trade secrets; or sensitive information about an identifiable third party.
9. Analyses, packs, pricing, and payment
Access may be offered as a single analysis, a pack containing several analyses, or another offer clearly described before purchase. One analysis ordinarily means processing one submitted text. A separate analysis is required for another text unless the offer expressly states otherwise.
Purchases are currently made and processed through Google Play. TypeInteractions does not directly collect or store complete payment-card information.
The final price, currency, taxes, and applicable charges are those displayed by Google Play before confirmation. You are responsible for reviewing the purchase summary and for authorized charges made through your Google Play account or payment method, subject to applicable law.
Analyses and packs are not subscriptions unless an offer is expressly identified as recurring before purchase. Any future subscription will disclose its price, billing period, renewal, cancellation method, and material conditions before purchase.
10. Performance and refunds
Unless a technical problem occurs, analysis is intended to begin shortly after purchase confirmation or after use of an available analysis from a pack. An analysis is considered used once processing begins, and the service is considered fully performed once the result is generated and made available.
Refund requests are governed by applicable law and the Google Play refund policies. Eligibility may depend on the product, request timing, payment method, user location, transaction status, and whether the analysis has already been performed.
Dissatisfaction solely with a profile or interpretive content does not necessarily create a refund right when the service was technically generated as described. This does not limit a refund, warranty, remedy, cancellation, cooling-off, or other consumer right required by law or provided by Google Play.
11. Technical failures
If a technical problem prevents generation of a purchased analysis or an analysis available in a pack, contact contact@typeinteractions.com.
Depending on verified circumstances, TypeInteractions may provide another attempt, restore or allocate an analysis credit, offer technical assistance, direct the user to the Google Play refund procedure, or provide another reasonable remedy.
A remedy may be denied when the issue results from abuse, circumvention, prohibited content, unsupported device conditions, loss of local data outside TypeInteractions’ control, or another problem caused exclusively by the user, except where law requires otherwise.
12. Local archive and no account
Analyses may be saved locally on the device. TypeInteractions operates without a TypeInteractions user account, which limits synchronization, recovery, restoration, and identification of prior analyses.
Uninstalling the app, clearing app data, deleting the archive, losing the device, or changing devices may permanently delete saved analyses. A Google account used for Google Play purchases is not a TypeInteractions account and does not create a remote backup of results unless expressly stated.
13. Availability and third-party services
TypeInteractions uses reasonable efforts to maintain an accessible, secure, and functional service, but does not guarantee continuous availability, uninterrupted operation, compatibility with every device, or an error-free experience.
Service may be interrupted or changed because of maintenance, security work, network or device failure, server outages, third-party provider changes, limitations of the artificial-intelligence provider, Google Play changes, legal requirements, or events outside reasonable control.
TypeInteractions relies on third parties that may include Google Play, hosting providers, device speech-recognition services, and an AI API provider. Their services are subject to separate terms and privacy policies. TypeInteractions is not responsible for their independent acts or omissions except where applicable law imposes responsibility.
14. Intellectual property and licenses
The application, design, profiles, structure, graphics, analysis logic, method, text, branding, and distinctive elements are protected by intellectual-property laws. Except where permitted by law or authorized in writing, you may not copy, extract, distribute, adapt, publicly display, resell, sublicense, or exploit them.
Subject to these Terms, TypeInteractions grants you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable license to install and use the application and view purchased results for lawful, non-commercial purposes.
You retain the rights you hold in submitted text. You grant TypeInteractions a limited, non-exclusive license, for the period reasonably necessary to provide and secure the service, to host, reproduce, transmit, and technically process the text to generate the requested analysis, prevent abuse, and resolve technical incidents. This does not transfer ownership of the text.
15. Prohibited conduct and suspension
You must not submit illegal or infringing content; submit private, confidential, or sensitive third-party information without authorization; bypass payments or usage limits; automate or scrape the service abusively; attack, overload, probe, reverse engineer, or disrupt systems; systematically extract prompts, content, profiles, or method criteria; use results for significant decisions; misrepresent results as clinical or scientifically definitive; or resell analyses without authorization.
TypeInteractions may use rate limits, purchase verification, temporary blocks, and other reasonable safeguards. In a serious or repeated violation, it may restrict, suspend, or block affected features to protect the service, providers, users, or third-party rights. Any suspension remains subject to non-waivable consumer rights.
16. Disclaimer of warranties
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, TYPEINTERACTIONS AND THE SERVICE ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY WARRANTIES.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TYPEINTERACTIONS DISCLAIMS IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, QUIET ENJOYMENT, AND WARRANTIES ARISING FROM COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE.
TypeInteractions does not warrant that a result will be accurate, complete, reproducible, suitable for a particular purpose, or consistent with another test, text, method, or professional opinion.
Some jurisdictions do not permit certain exclusions. Any legally required warranty remains effective, and exclusions apply only to the extent permitted.
17. Limitation of liability
The limitations in this section apply only to the fullest extent permitted by law.
TYPEINTERACTIONS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, BUSINESS, OPPORTUNITY, GOODWILL, DATA, OR LOCALLY STORED ANALYSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED THAT SUCH DAMAGES MAY OCCUR.
To the extent permitted by law, TypeInteractions is not responsible for harm caused by an incorrect interpretation, a decision made using a result, insufficient or artificial text, temporary unavailability, loss of local data, inability to restore an analysis, a third-party outage, or unauthorized use of another person’s text.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TYPEINTERACTIONS’ TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE DURING THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM OR (B) US$100.
The exclusions and cap do not apply where liability cannot legally be excluded or limited, including non-waivable consumer remedies and, where applicable, fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or personal injury caused by negligence.
18. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless DUCOS ANTHONY and TypeInteractions from third-party claims, losses, liabilities, damages, judgments, penalties, and reasonable legal costs arising from text submitted without required rights, unlawful or prohibited use, infringement of another person’s rights, or a material violation of these Terms.
This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim results from TypeInteractions’ unlawful conduct and does not limit protections that consumer law does not permit a business to waive.
19. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of France, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except that this choice does not deprive a consumer of mandatory protections available under the law of the consumer’s residence.
Before filing a formal claim, you and TypeInteractions agree to make a reasonable good-faith attempt to resolve the dispute in writing. Send a description and requested resolution to contact@typeinteractions.com.
If unresolved, the dispute may be brought before a court with jurisdiction under applicable law. These Terms do not require mandatory arbitration, waive a jury-trial right where it applies, or waive participation in a class or representative action.
Either party may seek urgent injunctive or equitable relief where legally available, including to protect intellectual property, security, or confidential information.
20. Changes and miscellaneous terms
TypeInteractions may update these Terms to reflect changes to the service, offers, providers, platforms, law, or business practices. Material changes will receive reasonable notice when required. Changes will not retroactively reduce non-waivable rights or alter a completed purchase in a manner prohibited by law.
These Terms, incorporated purchase disclosures, and the Privacy Policy form the agreement concerning the service. If a provision is invalid or unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted and the remaining provisions remain effective.
A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign your rights or obligations without prior written consent, except where law provides otherwise. TypeInteractions may transfer these Terms in connection with a reorganization or transfer of the service, subject to applicable law.
The English-language version is intended for users in the United States.
