DUCOS ANTHONY acts as the data controller for personal data processed in connection with TypeInteractions.
2. Purpose of this policy
This Privacy Policy explains what data may be processed when the TypeInteractions website and application are used, why the data is used, which service providers may receive it, how long it is retained, and what rights individuals have.
It covers in particular:
- texts submitted for analysis;
- generated results;
- technical data required to operate and secure the service;
- information relating to in-app purchases;
- messages sent to support or through the contact form;
- data relating to use of the website.
3. How TypeInteractions works
TypeInteractions allows users to submit free-form writing and receive an interpretive analysis of the dynamic that appears to emerge from it.
The text may be written, pasted, or dictated in the application. It is sent to an analysis server and processed with the assistance of an artificial intelligence provider in order to generate the requested result.
The analysis uses automated processing of linguistic and discursive traces. The result may include a dominant profile, a core process, a sociability level, confidence scores, an indicative MBTI correspondence, and profile-related interpretation.
TypeInteractions operates without user accounts. Submitted texts and results are therefore not linked to a personal account created in the application.
4. Data that may be processed
4.1 Text submitted for analysis
The main content processed is the text the user chooses to write, paste, or dictate in the application.
This text may contain personal data if the user voluntarily or unintentionally includes:
- information about themselves;
- names, contact details, or other identifiers;
- information about their relationships, experiences, or opinions;
- information concerning other people;
- content that may reveal sensitive personal data.
TypeInteractions does not require users to include such information. Users are encouraged to anonymize their text and avoid any unnecessary identifiable, sensitive, or confidential information.
4.2 Analysis result
Processing may generate:
- a dominant profile;
- a core process;
- a sociability level;
- confidence scores;
- an indicative MBTI correspondence;
- a profile overview and related interpretive content.
These elements constitute an automated interpretation of the submitted text. They are not a medical or psychological diagnosis and do not provide definitive knowledge of a person’s identity.
4.3 Technical data
Operating the service may require the processing of limited technical data, including:
- the IP address used to communicate with the server;
- the date and time of a request;
- the application version;
- the operating system and certain technical characteristics of the device;
- temporary technical identifiers;
- error codes and diagnostic logs;
- information required to prevent abuse and protect the service.
This information is not used to determine the personality profile. It is used only for operation, diagnostics, security, and abuse prevention.
4.4 Purchase data
Purchases are currently processed through Google Play.
TypeInteractions may receive or process limited information required to verify a purchase, including:
- the purchased product;
- the purchase status;
- a transaction identifier or purchase token;
- the date of purchase;
- information required to restore or validate an available analysis.
TypeInteractions does not receive or store complete bank card details. Payment information is processed by Google under its own terms and privacy policies.
4.5 Contact and support data
When a person contacts TypeInteractions, the following information may be processed:
- their name or the name they choose to provide;
- their email address;
- the subject and contents of their message;
- technical information or proof of purchase they voluntarily provide;
- the correspondence required to handle their request.
4.6 Voice dictation and microphone access
The application may request access to the microphone when the user voluntarily activates voice dictation.
Speech recognition may be provided by the device’s operating system or by the speech-recognition service configured on the device. Audio processing may therefore also be governed by that provider’s settings and privacy policy.
TypeInteractions mainly receives the resulting transcription required for the analysis and does not intend to retain an audio recording of the dictation.
4.7 Website usage data
The website may process technical information required for its operation and security, such as IP addresses, browser type, requested pages, connection dates, and web-server logs.
Strictly necessary cookies or storage mechanisms may be used for technical operation, security, or remembering a language preference.
If optional audience-measurement tools or other non-essential trackers are enabled, they must only be used after consent has been obtained where required.
5. Purposes of processing
Data is processed in order to:
- receive the text submitted by the user;
- generate and deliver the analysis result;
- display and retain analyses locally on the device;
- verify purchases and the number of available analyses;
- operate the application and website;
- detect and correct technical errors;
- prevent fraud, abuse, attacks, and unauthorized automated use;
- respond to contact, support, and refund requests;
- comply with legal, accounting, and tax obligations;
- establish, exercise, or defend legal claims;
- improve the reliability and security of the service using aggregated or anonymized data.
TypeInteractions does not use texts or results to create personalized advertising, sell personality profiles, or make legal, employment, medical, financial, or insurance decisions.
6. Legal bases
Depending on the processing activity, TypeInteractions relies on the following legal bases:
- Performance of a contract: processing the text, generating the result, verifying purchases, using an available analysis, and providing support relating to the purchased service.
- Pre-contractual steps: responding to questions about the service, available offers, or purchase conditions before an order is placed.
- Legitimate interests: securing the service, preventing abuse, diagnosing errors, handling complaints, protecting the publisher’s rights, and making limited technical improvements.
- Legal obligations: retaining accounting documents, responding to competent authorities, and meeting tax or legal requirements.
- Consent: optional microphone access, non-essential trackers, and other optional features where consent is required by law.
7. Automated processing and profiling
The TypeInteractions analysis involves automated processing that may produce a profile indication from the submitted text.
This profiling is limited to providing the service requested by the user. It is intended for personal reflection and is not used by TypeInteractions to produce legal effects or make decisions that significantly affect an individual.
The result must not be used for recruitment, dismissal, credit, insurance, healthcare, admission, disciplinary action, or any other significant decision.
8. Recipients and service providers
Data is available only to the persons and service providers that require it to provide, secure, or administer the service.
It may be shared with the following categories of recipients:
- the website hosting provider;
- the analysis-server hosting provider;
- OpenAI, as the artificial intelligence provider used to generate the analysis;
- Google Play, for purchase processing and verification;
- the email or contact-form provider;
- technical providers involved in security, maintenance, or diagnostics;
- administrative or judicial authorities where disclosure is legally required.
These service providers must process data only as required for the relevant service, in accordance with their contractual obligations and applicable law.
9. Use of data by OpenAI
The submitted text and the instructions required to perform the analysis may be sent to the OpenAI API in order to generate the result.
Under the terms applying to OpenAI’s business services and API, submitted inputs and outputs are not used by default to train or improve OpenAI models unless the service customer actively opts into data sharing.
OpenAI may retain abuse-monitoring logs for a limited period, generally up to 30 days, unless a legal obligation or different contractual configuration applies.
Users should nevertheless avoid including sensitive, confidential, or unnecessarily identifiable information in the submitted text.
10. International data transfers
Some technical providers, including OpenAI and Google, may process data from countries located outside the European Economic Area.
Where such transfers take place, they must be governed by a mechanism recognized under applicable data-protection law, such as an adequacy decision, standard contractual clauses, or another appropriate safeguard.
Further information about these safeguards may be requested at contact@typeinteractions.com.
11. Retention periods
11.1 Texts and results on the TypeInteractions server
The submitted text is processed for the time required to generate and return the result.
TypeInteractions does not intend to retain submitted texts and results in a permanent database linked to users. Unless an incident occurs, they are deleted or made inaccessible after the technical processing has been completed.
Limited technical traces may nevertheless be retained temporarily for security, failure diagnostics, and abuse prevention, for no longer than 30 days.
11.2 Local archive
Analyses saved in the application archive are stored locally on the device until the user deletes them, clears the application data, or uninstalls the application.
TypeInteractions generally cannot access this local archive or restore it if the data is lost, deleted, or transferred to another device.
11.3 Data retained by OpenAI
OpenAI API abuse-monitoring logs may be retained for up to 30 days unless a legal obligation or different contractual arrangement applies.
11.4 Technical logs
Server and website technical logs are retained for no longer than 30 days, unless longer retention is required to investigate a security incident, establish abuse, or defend a legal claim.
11.5 Support and contact requests
Support correspondence is retained for the time required to handle the request and may then be retained for up to three years after closure where necessary for service follow-up or evidence of the correspondence.
11.6 Purchases and accounting obligations
Information strictly required for accounting, invoicing, or transaction evidence may be retained for the periods required by law, which may be up to ten years for certain accounting records.
11.7 Data-rights requests
Requests to exercise data-protection rights and the corresponding responses are retained for the time required to handle the request and for an additional period where necessary to demonstrate compliance with legal obligations.
At the end of the applicable periods, data is deleted, anonymized, or separately archived where required by law.
12. Local storage and deletion by the user
Results may be stored locally in the application so that the user can view them later.
The user may delete:
- an analysis from the archive, where this function is available;
- the application’s local data through the device settings;
- the full archive by uninstalling the application or deleting its data.
Local deletion is generally permanent. Since there is no user account or remote backup, TypeInteractions cannot restore deleted analyses.
13. No sale of data or targeted advertising
TypeInteractions does not sell, rent, or commercially trade users’ texts, results, or personal data.
Data is not used by TypeInteractions for targeted advertising or to create a commercial database of personality profiles.
14. Security
TypeInteractions implements reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect data against unauthorized access, loss, alteration, disclosure, or misuse.
These measures may include:
- encryption of communications using HTTPS;
- restricted access to technical systems;
- data minimization;
- limited retention periods;
- monitoring of incidents and abusive use;
- software-component updates;
- separation between the local archive and the analysis server.
No information system can guarantee absolute security. Users should also protect their device, access methods, and the texts they choose to submit.
15. Personal-data breaches
If a personal-data breach is likely to create a risk to individuals’ rights and freedoms, TypeInteractions will take steps to contain the incident and, where required by law, notify the competent authority and affected individuals.
16. Texts and data concerning other people
Where a user submits a text written by another person or containing information about third parties, the user must have the necessary right or permission to do so.
The user is responsible for:
- avoiding private or confidential texts obtained without permission;
- informing the person concerned where required;
- anonymizing names and identifying details;
- not including sensitive data concerning other people;
- not using the result to make an important decision about another person.
17. Sensitive personal data
Free-form writing may theoretically contain information revealing health, political opinions, religious beliefs, sex life, sexual orientation, racial or ethnic origin, trade-union membership, or other specially protected data.
TypeInteractions does not request this information and expressly recommends that users do not include it.
Where such information is nevertheless voluntarily included, it is processed only to perform the requested analysis and is not used by TypeInteractions for any separate purpose.
18. Minors
TypeInteractions is not specifically intended for children.
Minors should use the application only with the authorization of their legal representative where required.
Users should not submit texts containing personal data about minors, particularly sensitive data or information that could identify them.
19. Individual rights
Subject to the conditions provided by applicable law, individuals may exercise the following rights:
- the right to access their personal data;
- the right to request correction of inaccurate data;
- the right to request deletion of certain data;
- the right to request restriction of processing;
- the right to object to certain processing based on legitimate interests;
- the right to data portability where the legal conditions are met;
- the right to withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent;
- the right to issue instructions concerning certain data after death where permitted by law.
Because TypeInteractions does not use user accounts and retains submitted texts on the server only for a limited period, it may no longer hold the information required to locate a particular analysis or identify its author when a request is received.
Exercising a data-protection right does not allow TypeInteractions to access an archive stored solely on the user’s device.
20. Exercising your rights
Requests may be sent to:
contact@typeinteractions.com
The request should clearly describe its purpose and provide enough information to locate the relevant data.
Proof of identity may be requested only where there is reasonable doubt about the identity of the person making the request.
TypeInteractions will respond within the periods required by applicable law.
21. Complaints to the CNIL
Individuals who believe their rights have not been respected may lodge a complaint with the French data-protection authority:
Commission nationale de l’informatique et des libertés — CNIL
3 place de Fontenoy
TSA 80715
75334 Paris Cedex 07

Individuals may also contact the competent data-protection authority in their country of residence where applicable.
22. Third-party links and services
The website or application may include links to Google Play or other third-party services.
This Privacy Policy does not govern processing carried out directly by those third parties through their own services. Users should review the relevant third-party privacy policies.
23. Changes to this policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated to reflect changes to the application, its providers, its features, its data-processing practices, or applicable law.
The date of the latest update appears at the top of this page. Where a change is significant, additional notice may be displayed on the website or in the application.
